I have to say the front plate mount is a poor design when it requires drilling large holes in the front bumper cover. Get a euro plate mount and somehow affix it so it covers the holes on the front of the bumper, with an interesting euro vanity plate.ĥ. This looks better but still a little odd. Has one arm quick release to remove front plate. A good early warning system for curbs and bumps in the road. A no drill, quick release/removable front license plate bracket, utilizing existing chassis bolt locations, the bracket is attached directly to the chassis. I ended up removing the front bracket, and reinstalled the black plastic pushpin inserts back into the holes (sans bracket) just to fill the holes. EezePlate - world's best front license plate system. So that doesn't look good with the bracket removed. But come to find out the plate bracket is mounted by drilling two large (.5 inch) holes in the front bumper cover. No problem I thought, I'll just remove it. However, I live in a state that does not require a front plate and I prefer the look of the car without the front plate bracket. ![]() I picked up my 2013 SEL and it had the front license plate mount already installed by the dealer (I'm sure it was on their PDI checklist). ![]()
